Tolman weekend update!

We've been deceived! Our weather this past month has seemed to be as though it was April but this past week we have traveled back in time to weather of early January. Don't get me wrong, we definitely need the rain and I have enjoyed the moisture, but of all the time to have this constant rainy weather, I do hope it clears up by next week!!! We have planned a Baseball Game Birthday Party for Benson and Max on the 28 of February and postponing it isn't much of an option since baseball season kicks off in early March! This year we decided to invite our boys' friends families and the number of invites continues to rise so the option to have the party here at the house is out of the question and the stake center is booked for a baptism.... 10 day forecast shows rain through the 25th and then clear on the 26th... Hopefully the sun holds up through Saturday!

Our Valentine's weekend was so much fun. Because Valentine's fell on a Saturday this year we knew that it would be so super busy everywhere, so we got a babysitter for Friday night and reserved our Sat to spend the "day of love" with our boys. On Saturday we took the boys to the snow. They had so much fun. Max's feet are so LARGE!!! We struggled for 10 minutes to get this boots on with no luck. We just had to put on his tennis shoes and hope he didn't mind getting wet. This was the first year we spent more than 30 minutes out of the car. Benson loved sledding and jumping into the snow. Max loved wandering around and exploring the tasty snow :) Max's favorite was standing at the bottom of the hill and having us run into him with the sleds. Cautious of course, but he requested it over and over again. It thought it was fun to have us slide past him and try and get him on the sled with us. They were sad when we left which is a first.

Sunday was a typical Sunday with all the meetings and more... Monday we got up early and attended open gym and youngsters and then headed down to see Ashleigh, Matt and Addison and then to see Grandma Bagley at Aunt Marleen's.

Addison is doing well. She so sweet! I still have not seen her eyes open other than to yawn a bit and then fall right back to sleep. Matt and Ashleigh seemed to be doing well and enjoying being home and not at the hospital.

Grandma Bagley was a delight as usual. More entertaining than ever! At one point while we were visiting she turned to Ann and said "Now, where are you from?" . Throughout the visit Grandma would get up and say she needed to go lay down. She'd make her way to the bedroom and then after about serveral minutes would get up and return to the living room. On one occasion I had helped her to her room, with Max following along. Max kept trying to shut her door (which is prefers to stay open). After distracting Max with some popcorn, we headed back toward the living room and all of a sudden Grandma up again and walking right behind us. I turned to her and said, "Did you have a nice nap Grandma?" she says, "Oh, yes dear. Short but nice!" LOL. She's a riot.

We finally gathered the kids together for a photo opt with Grandma.

Welcome baby Addison!

Congratulations to Matt and Ashleigh. Baby Addison Ann was born on February 8 at 6:06am. She's beautiful!!! We went to see her last night in Roseville and all she did was sleep. I wanted to snap a shot of her with her eyes open but NOPE!!! She was sound asleep!

Congratulations!!! We love you!
