Birthday Party Bash(es)

Too busy having so much fun with our boys' parties we haven't had a chance to blog yet.

On Saturday, Feb 28 Max turned 2!!! He's such a delight in our lives. Quite a handful, energetic, funny, so cute and happy as can be. I can't believe it's been 2 years. He's growing so fast.

We had a combined party for the boys at the park on the 28th. We were lucky to get a break in the bad weather we've had recently. My friend Jeff made these cute shirts for us and we handed out hats for each friend that came to the the party. The boys had so much fun.

During the party you could catch Max sneaking cupcake after cupcake. It's his party so we let me do what he wanted! And he was sure to take full advantage of it!

All the kids took turns up at bat and running around the bases. They had a ball!

We had tons of help with the camera and cooking the food - it was nice to enjoy the party and play with the kids, so thank you to all who helped!!!!!

Benson turned 4 yesterday, March 8. We had our family Sunday dinner to celebrate both the boys' birthdays, again :) Benson was begging for a pinata but with 25+ kids at the baseball game the poor pinata wouldn't have stood a chance, so we saved it for the family party. It was a hit as usual. No pun intended! :)

I can't believe how much of a big boy Benson is! I love watching him interact with Max, his family, friends and teachers. Benson is and has been a joy in our lives. He's more mellow than Max and they mix well together. It's amazing to watch your brand new baby turn into a little boy. All the hard work, late nights, sleepless nights, disciplining, teaching, loving and tough love is all worth it when you watch your baby grow. I can't wait to see what this next year brings!

In two weeks my mom and sister will be heading down and we'll enjoy a day at six flags to celebrate the birthdays again! Ahhh....the month of birthdays! Until next year......
